Guided by a desire for openness, inclusiveness, lean governance, and member involvement, the Coalition's structure comprises four principal entities:

Executive Committee: Governance of the Coalition rests with an Executive Committee that provides broad guidance, oversight, and, where necessary, the approval required to legitimate key decisions and activities. The Committee plays a key role in defining and monitoring the Coalition’s strategic goals.

SecretariatManaged by PATH, the Secretariat administers and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Coalition, implements the directives of the Executive Committee, responds to the needs of the general membership and three Working Groups, and ensures that the Coalition’s strategic vision and goals are translated into action.

Working Groups: Working Groups are the principal vehicles through which Coalition members collaborate on a sustained, formal basis to realize the Coalition’s strategic goals. Each Working Group pursues a workplan, developed by its members, revised annually, and submitted to the Executive Committee for review. Working Groups are led by an elected Head and participation is open to all Coalition members. At present the Coalition has three Working Groups:

Members: The Coalition currently comprises institutional members from across the "total market" for reproductive health (RH) supplies. Members include multilateral organizations, bilateral and private foundations donors, low- and middle-income (LMI) country governments, civil society, inter-governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the private sector. The structure of membership is horizontal with all members subject to the same rights and responsibilities.
